UD Trucks has introduced two Quester heavy-duty trucks at the Vietnam International Motor Show 2016, held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, during October 26 – 30, 2016. This is the first exhibition where a Quester was showcased in Vietnam.

Since its world first launch in Bangkok, Thailand in 2013, Quester has been well accepted by UD Trucks customers in Southeast Asia, Southern Africa and Middle East regions. In 2015, Quester released its full range to serve a variety of customers in different industrial segments with its robust performance, ease of maintenance and durability.
“To better meet the needs of our global customers, UD Trucks spent over 6 years in product designing and development, marrying UD Trucks’ long experience in the growing markets with the wide and high performance offers available today by utilizing Volvo Group’s global technology,” says Toshi Odawara, UD Trucks Quester Product Line Director. US$70 million were invested in setting up the global production base of Quester in Bangkok, Thailand, securing the high quality manufacturing and sourcing based on Japanese craftsmanship.
During the Motor Show, two 6X4 and 6X2 Tractor Questers with 8-liter engines and 330HP were displayed as part of the wide UD Quester range. Quester is designed to offer best in its class fuel efficiency and its wide variety of applications support customers’ uptime.
